Cafes and Plays

It has been a very busy few weeks!  I've been holding classes at my home each Saturday morning which have been just great fun (I'll blog a whole post on them soon and add photos to the classes page!)  In between these, I've been preparing for them! And doing some other things...

Recently we had a 'Thank You!' meal for kind friends who did various things to help us open up our cafe in November (and help it stay open by staffing and all sorts!)  Our cook did amazing food and some of our staff outdid themselves with the baking and prep.

The lady on the far right is our Manager's (and good friend's) Nan.  She stood and dried up ALL the dishes we owned when they first arrived and were sterilised.  She wouldn't take a seat and insisted she stayed.  I want to be like her when I'm older!

And on another note!  It was Up Helly 'Aa in Brae recently (big Shetland Viking festival) and my boys were in their school performances for it.  Well, they were supposed to be, Ethan was too shy to go up, but you can see Will dressed as a dog for the Primary 1 performance.

I videoed the performance to show Alasdair when I got home, and to show Will when he's 18!

Will be back soon with some crafty blogs... great excitement with the Mini Catalogue arriving soon...

I have two spaces left for a Hostess Club.  Please see tab at the top for more details or email me on paperworks@hotmail.co.uk if you're interested or would like more information.
