New projects and some sewing!

I've had a very enjoyable and productive day (so far!) and finally managed to get the bleach stamping to work!  Thanks to some great advice from Amanda Fowler and Helen Robertson I used much stronger (smelling at least!) bleach and used kitchen roll instead of felt.  For the results come to Thursday's workshop and see for yourselves!

(Thursday 24th Feb, 7pm at my home in Brae.  Free SAB set, extra freebie on the night and hostess offer for March!  And two brand new techniques!  Contact me if you would like to come and feel free to bring a friend!)

For Wednesday's workshop at the Havly, I'm going to look at watercolour pencils, blender pens and the stamp a ma jig.  Here are some sneak peeks at two sample cards using the Bundle of Joy set.

And some sneak peeks of the rock n roll technique...

I also thought I'd share with you another crafty thing I like to do from time to time.  Last year I bought a sewing machine (inspired by Poppy Treffry and Tone Finnanger style) and have made the odd egg cosy, phone cosy and random curtain for my utility room!  Here's the curtain...

A flower close up..

Will take some photos of the egg and phone cosies soon and let you see them! Very much a beginner but thoroughly enjoying it!

Don't forget:  Weds workshop at the Havly Cafe, 7pm. Watercolouring and more...
Thursday workshop in Brae, 7pm.  Bleach stamping, rock n roll and more...!

Contact me for more details or to reserve your place... Also, last few days for SAB so contact me to get your free sets and if you sign up for a starter kit, you will receive one of these...

Only until Feb 28th (orders for starter kits/becoming a demo have to be posted away so please do not leave until last minute!)

As always, I love to hear your comments so please let me know your thoughts!
