Sale a Bration workshop using the colour coach and stamp-a-ma-jig

I thought I'd better show you some recent workshop examples that I've actually done!  These are examples of demonstrations and the make and take from my last workshops using our wonderful free Sale-a-Bration sets.

The first workshop we looked at two of the Sale a Bration sets, Sweet Summer and Bliss.  I showed everyone how to use the stamp-a-ma-jig and watercolour crayons.

Here are my examples with the Sweet Summer set. (Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant and watercolour paper)  I used a very simple design and added a few extras including basic pearls, clips, Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon and also used the Occasional Greetings set along with the watercolour paper, pencils and blender pen.  I also stamped the images in Elegant Eggplant and Wild Wasabi.

And using the colour coach we tried a bolder trio (swapped Very Vanilla for Pacific Point and reused Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red) I use the colour coach a lot to get out of my colour ruts. Changing only one colour made a big difference.  This time I stamped the images in Basic Black.  This card has a big impact but I'll have to add some extras...!

We used the stamp-a-ma-jig on the bird images below and used the colour coach again for both.  Just shows what a difference your choice of colour can make...
Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler... yum!  The little bird is in More Mustard and I've also added Neutrals buttons, linen thread, versamark flourish background, and an eyelet.  The set is the Bliss Sale-a-bration set.  My absolute favourite and absolutely free!

Without stamp-a-ma-jig

This is Bashful Blue, Early Espresso and Pink Pirouette.  Probably three of my top five colours...

With stamp-a-ma-jig!
And the make and take (a project that everyone has a go at and takes home with them and an envelope for giving it to someone of course!)  My great attendees made this using watercolour crayons and blender pens and the stamp-a-ma-jig to get the butterly sitting in the right place...

I used the scallop trim border punch, Whisper White cardstock, Early Espresso cardstock and ink, Baja Breeze cardstock and ink, watercolour crayons, blender pens and stamp-a-ma-jig, Neutrals buttons, linen thread and Nursery Suite speciality paper (my favourite!)

A really lovely evening.  If you would like to see any of these products demonstrated in the comfort of your own home please get in touch.  Stampin' Up! hostesses earn free stamp sets and their choice of free products with workshop sales of £150 and more.  All you have to do is set a date, invite and I'll do the rest!
